All freestanding kitchen islands are hand-made to order & all designs can be adapted to any reasonable size or configuration & painted in any colour.
All worktops are pre-fitted but then removed to be delivered separately. We do this to help with any weight & access issues encountered during delivery. Refitting is straighforward using a few (supplied) screws.

This freestanding kitchen island is hand made in solid pine using traditional methods of construction and styling. All framing, legs & doors have strong glued mortise & tenon joints. Optional castors can be fitted. Other design aspects worth noting include:-

* 95mm corner posts.
* Mortised & tenoned top and bottom rails.
* 40mm thick hardwood worktop in a choice of timbers.
* Solid timber back-to-back double-door cupboards with a single adjustable shelf.
* Breakfast bar at end of island.
* Two tier slatted end shelves to match worktop.
* A choice of knobs and handles. wooden or metal to match or contrast with your existing decor.
* All cabinets are painted on both the inside & outside surfaces.
Built to your own specifications in any size or configuration and finished in any tone from our own colour palette. We also offer a colour matching service for a small extra charge

We only use tough &
long lasting acrylic based eggshell paints.
We can also use manufacturer specific paints such as those
from Farrow &
Ball, Little Greene etc. but these carry a surcharge of £40 for each 2.5 litres of paint required for
the item(s) being painted. We are happy to quote individually on each job.

Hardwood Worktop Options
Your furniture can be fitted with a 40mm thick solid timber worktop in the choice of timbers shown below. All are available in staved butchers block style with each worktop laminated from solid timber 40mm wide blocks. Some worktops are also available constructed with 40mm wide full length boards running end to end. The oak blocked end grain worktops are only available up to a maximum size of 1200mm x 620mm and are offered in two thicknesses, 50mm or 80mm.
All worktops are manufactured in Europe by factories with extensive replanting programs using wood from certified forestry
Obtaining a Quotation
We offer full written quotations for all furniture & kitchens with all items broken down & listed in detail.
To obtain a quotation please contact us listing your specific requirements along with your delivery postcode. You may also like to include your paint colour & handle choice if you have reached a decision on these already. This will enable us to provide you with as accurate a quotation as possible. Contact Us
Placing an Order
If the quotation is acceptable & you would like to go ahead and reserve a slot by placing an order we ask for one third of the total shown on your quotation as a deposit with the full balance becoming payable upon completion of your order and just prior to delivery.
Payment may be made by BACS using my bank details which are shown on the quotation itself.
Lead Time
All orders are placed on our work schedule, the length of which can vary, so you may like to check with us to find whether the current lead time is compatible with your project prior to requesting a quotation. Contact Us

All furniture & kitchens are offered in a range of standard sizes but we also offer a bespoke service where we can adapt our existing designs to suit your specific needs. Delivery Details
Mainland UK Delivery Available
We cover most of England & Wales with our delivery service as shown on the map. This is made door to door by our own local courier & is charged on a distance basis calculated by postcode area. We will endeavour to arrange delivery at a time to suit you and to place the furniture in the room of your choice. However, please note that as deliveries are made by a single driver it is essential that at least one able bodied person be on hand to assist with unloading. This is especially the case with larger items of furniture such as large kitchen islands & dressers etc.
Also please be certain that you have adequate access for larger items. If you think this may be an issue please contact us before ordering as it often possible to adapt the construction methods of larger furniture items to take into account, for example smaller width doors or narrow corridors & staircases etc..
Charges for other areas would be subject to a delivery surcharge - Please contact us for further details before placing your order. Delivery may also be unavailable to these destinations on some larger items - please contact us if in doubt for clarification.
